Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Many have allowed the news media to cause fear and concern over Coronavirus (COVID-19). Let me encourage you to allow God’s Word to put ease.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV For God has not given us a spirit of fear,  but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Isaiah 43:1-3 NIV “Do not fear..."

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV "... by His  stripes we are healed."

Psalm 91 (Read the Whole Chapter)

John 14:27 NIV Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 16:33 NIV  “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Don’t live in fear or allow someone to cause you to panic.
There's no need to panic. God is in control. He is our deliverer and our healer.

Let’s pray together right now: “Father, thank you for who You are. You’re our Deliverer, Our Healer, Our Sustainer. Our Hope and Our Joy. I thank you that You’re in control.
Thank You for Your Word which is my foundation for life.
I stand on Your Word declaring it over my family, my friends, my community and my nation.
I plead the blood of Jesus over the one’s I care about so deeply. Please keep Your hand upon us and put a hedge of protection and a hedge of healing around us.
Guard our hearts and our minds from being influenced by fear. Help us to live with wisdom, taking health precautions when necessary, and trusting You to be our deliverer and healer.
Thank you that we can trust You and Your Word and we do not have to live in fear.
Help the Body of Christ to stand as a source of hope and encouragement to those who are fearful. Allow us to stand as intercessors for those who are sick and need You to be their healer. Help us during this time of fear-mongering to lead people to Jesus who heals all of our sicknesses and forgives all of our sins. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

Thank you for taking a moment to read this post and to join me in prayer.

Review of Acres of Diamonds

Acres of Diamonds
By Jentezen Franklin

Acres of Diamonds is a great book that will encourage every area of your life.
Pastor Jentezen begins the introduction with the story of Ali Hafed and his Acres of Diamonds. He then explains the process of developing diamonds:pressure, time and heat.

Probably my favorite statement in the entire book is “If life is going to bring trouble with or without Jesus, you might as well choose Jesus.”

Pastor Jentezen ends the introduction with a power statement: “God has placed you where you are, right now. Ask Him to open your eyes and see what is right in front of you.”

Acres of Diamonds will help you see the value where you are, and so far I’ve only mentioned the introduction!

The chapters that follow take you on a journey of developing faith. Pastor Jentezen uses some of the stories from his personal life as well as some stories told by others to help the reader see the value of where they are right now, and what they are going through right now.

Acres of Diamonds will stir within the reader a desire to see where God has been working, is currently working, and is desiring to work in each area of their lives.

I enjoyed the material presented. It is well written and obviously something Pastor Jentezen has prayed over and practiced in his own journey.

I highly recommend Acres of Diamonds. You will learn the value of faith, prayer, and staying planted where you are. And you will learn that you really do have “Acres of Diamonds” right in front of you.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
